It’s been a bit busy…
Last week I drove up to Monterey to photograph an editorial for Road&Track magazine at the legendary Laguna Seca racetrack. I had been “racing” this track on video games since the 90’s and had visited many times over the years. But this trip would be different. I was going on the track! Quite an exciting premise.
I have always been smitten by cars. As one moment in the pits during this job, yet again, clarified, I am not a “car guy”, though. As much as I enjoy these machines, driving them, working on them and admiring them, I don’t operate in the “car crowd”. Totally fine with me, I am not a tribe guy, always been a solo-adventurer. Anyways, lots of rambling, I took my dear friend Matt as a driver/assistant and we had a great time. After we were done shooting the car on track we had about 30 minutes of track time left so I even got to do a few laps behind the wheel and not just hanging out the back…
Check out this short BTS video of what we were doing. More to come as well…
